It’s not every day that you’re in the same room as an Auschwitz survivor who was operated on by Josef Mengele. And it is quite compelling to hear her son discuss the 60 million lives taken by abortion as a modern day holocaust. The comparison of the Jewish Holocaust being due to Jews being considered “sub-human” and society turning a blind eye and the unborn being considered “sub-human” and society turning a blind eye… it is there, regardless of how much people want to deny it. We’ve become so desensitized that we just carry on, while 22 babies a day in my own county lose their lives and while 26% of pregnancies in my own county end in abortion. That’s 1 in 4 babies dying – Lord, help us!
Rescue those who are unjustly sentenced to die;
save them as they stagger to their death.
Don’t excuse yourself by saying, “Look, we didn’t know.”
For God understands all hearts, and he sees you.
He who guards your soul knows you knew.
He will repay all people as their actions deserve.
And yet, how wonderful that there is forgiveness – even for those who have walked the path of abortion.
“Come now, let’s settle this,” says the LORD. “Though your sins are like scarlet, I will make them as white as snow. Though they are red like crimson, I will make them as white as wool.” Isaiah 1:18
