Our homeschool Meet-Up group decided to go along for Homeschool Day at the Booth Western Art Museum and with my horse crazy girl, you know we had to attend. The exhibits are beautiful – from paintings to sculptures (including some made out of paper that were incredibly detailed), they are just stunning. There are some antique stage coaches and a hall of presidents with presidential artifacts, as well. For Homeschool Day, they had fun activities, like making a teepee and painting a teepee using crayons as a resist to watercolors. They also had coyboy stories and songs. Alyssa enjoyed herself, but was anxious to get to the gift shop to see if there were any horsey things to buy.
